I love a “no recipe” recipe. Something quick that you essentially throw together and the measurements don’t really matter because it’s entirely reliant on your palate and how you want it. This is one of those, a simple “recipe” for when you want a variation on avocado toast or something different to dip your veggies in.
All measurements can be adjusted these are just a guide.
Avocado Hummus
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Total time: 10 minutes
1 can chickpeas, drained
2 ripe avocados, sliced
Juice of ½ lemon or lime
1T tahini
1 clove garlic
Salt & pepper to taste
Handful fresh cilantro (optional)
Jalapeno pepper (optional)
Add all ingredients to a food processor or a high speed blender and blend until smooth. You can add some water if it’s too thick to blend.
