Spicy Tuna

My absolute favorite dish, spicy tuna. There’s a restaurant my sister and I frequent that does it SO well but I have to say- my version is pretty damn close. As per usual, measurements are an estimation, measure with your heart babes. If you want it creamier or spicier add some more mayo and sriracha. The one thing I’d say is go easy on the sesame oil because it can be very overpowering, a little goes a long way. This goes great with wonton chips and some avocado.

8oz sushi grade tuna
3 T kewpie mayonnaise (or your favorite)
2 T sriracha
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
scallions

Chop up the tuna steak in a food processor, or by knife, to your desired size. I prefer it more finely chopped but it can be left in bigger pieces if you’d like. Mix together mayo, sriracha, soy sauce and sesame oil then add in the tuna. Serve as is with sliced scallions on top and wonton chips or you can use it for other dishes like crispy rice and tuna bowls. Make sure to refrigerate if you are not serving immediately.
